About
Making things by hand, since before I could sew a straight seam
A little about how a childhood spent making dresses turned into a practice in styling, collection design and construction.
About me
Mahshad Momtaz
With a background in graphic design from high school, I am now a university student majoring in fashion design at Shariaty Technical and Vocational University.
My passion for fashion has been lifelong, beginning with creating dresses as a child. Besides fashion, I enjoy modelling, photography, and sports — all of which quietly feed back into how I style and design: an eye for how a body moves, and how a frame is composed.
Today my practice moves between three things: styling for editorial and private clients, designing small collections rooted in Persian textile heritage, and the construction work — patterning, quilting, delicate sewing — that keeps every idea grounded in how a garment actually behaves on a body.
